HOW TO CLEAN A 510, 901, OR ANY CLOSED ATOMIZER USING DISTILLED WATER
(For those who aren’t comfortable using chemicals)
To start, take just the atomizer you want to clean and blow it out from
the battery end for 30-60 seconds with your mouth, holding paper towel
underneath it to collect the juice from inside.
Next, hold the atomizer battery side down and pour distilled water onto
the bridge. (You can use a funnel or turkey baster to do this.) It will flow
through the atomizer and clean out any residual juice, and most of the
flavor. Of course menthol and strong flavors will keep no matter what you
do.. You can do this for 3-5 minutes or longer if preferred, then blow out
the atomizer from the battery end again just like the first paragraph.
Finally, you’ll want to let the atomizer dry for 24 hours. If it isn’t
completely dry it can ruin your atomizer, so to be on the safe side I wait a
full day before use. Then, you can wad up some paper towel and gently stick
it inside the atomizer (the cartridge side), then leave this sit on some
paper towel (cartridge side down) so it drains for 12 hours or until
completely dry.
After your atomizer is dry, be sure to prime it with 2-3 drops of juice,
and vape away with your fresh clean atty with no worry of vaping any harsh
chemicals!
