Banana Split by Capella
Slice the flavor of Banana Split into your DIY inventory. It is a great stand alone desert flavor, but it can also be mixed with your favorite fruit and desert flavors for a unique blend that will keep you screaming for ice cream... and banana.
 | | A bit of information about the Banana Split:
David Evans Strickler, a 23-year-old apprentice pharmacist at Tassel Pharmacy in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who enjoyed inventing sundaes at the store's soda fountain, invented the banana-based triple ice cream sundae in 1904. The sundae originally cost 10 cents, twice the price of other sundaes. Shortly after its invention by Strickler, a Boston ice cream entrepreneur came up with the same sundae, with one minor flaw — he served his banana splits with the bananas unpeeled which lead to many sticky fingers.
